Awww...a youngin. How cute :-D Yes. Mario Cantone had a Kids' Show from 1987-1993 on WWOR-9 of Secaucus, NJ :) It broadcasted on Sunday mornings and he aired Looney Tunes and had a "game show" thing for children in the audience. And a version of Musical Chairs called Out of Gas. They used Whoopie Cushions.

I would have been old enough to watch it, but I think that was out of my broadcast area. ;P

Where did you grow up? WWOR-9 broadcast in NY/NJ/CT. It's what My9 is now.

I grew up in Suffolk County. When you said it was NJ, I thought that it was just one of those local NJ/NYC area channels... but I guess not.

... and even to this day I don't know what's on channel 9, so I guess times haven't changed all that much.

I think I was mainly a Nickelodeon/PBS watcher as a child.

WWOR used to be awesome. Then it became UPN and ultimately decided to suck. When it became My9, the format didn't change. I only watch channel 9 for it's 10pm news, because that's the only thing on that channel that doesn't suck.
