Schools have long been anti-religion. Unfortunately, this kind of thing doesn't merit a "WTF?" in the day and age we're living in.

Eh, seems fairly standard. Religious symbols of any kinda have been frowned on in school for a bit, aside from the fairly unobtrusive pendants and such.
