Well it pays to be informed if you're seeing someone and suddenly they start panicing because things don't go as planned. Most of the time it's something like a cold or flu causes a delay of a week or more, and the stress only makes it longer. But 34 days is definately just a total miss. Back in ye olden days the average was only about 4-5 a year, not 12 like now. As far as I know modern regularity has been attributed to changes in diet for most of the population over the last couple centuries, much like the earlier onset of puberty these days.
P.S. If you skip again you may want to consider having your hormone levels checked, as well as a TSH for thyroid. It could be a symptom of another problem.
