The answer to yesterday's question was: Who is Ludwig van Beethoven? Nearly everyone got it right! YAAAAY!
It seems we have reached the Double Jeopardy! round for the week. Today's question is worth $400:
The Category: 1912: 100 Years Ago
The Answer: It sank in April, en route to New York City.
Good luck, and remember, NO CHEATING!!

Date: 2012-01-05 03:35 pm (UTC)Alternatively: What is a question that's way too easy to be Double Jeopardy, and belongs in Trivial Pursuit?

Date: 2012-01-06 04:19 pm (UTC)I saw Titanic at least three times in theaters. Of course that was easy, as it hung around for MONTHS. At least into April '98. That might have been one reason The Big Lebowski (March '98 release) didn't make much an impression then.

Date: 2012-01-05 04:23 pm (UTC)>.> as an interesting side note (since I know Alex loves personal stories) if the Titanic had not been full, I may very likely not have been born. My great-grandparents were in Britain at the time and wanted to return on the Titanic but by the time they got around to getting their steamship tickets to return to Canada there was no room left (and they were not of the steerage class...heavens!) so they sailed on a different ship instead.
My grandmother, incidentally, was born May 21, 1913

Date: 2012-01-06 04:33 pm (UTC)I went to the Titanic exhibit when it came to town a few years ago and...yeah, really fricking spooky, given my family history and all that. I mean, the thing is spooky enough anyway, but when you add that in...yeah...
