Page-A-Day Jeopardy! 1-6-12

The answer to yesterday's Double Jeopardy! question was: What is the (RMS) Titanic?

As [livejournal.com profile] yendi pointed out in his answer, and I'm paraphrasing, that question was not worthy of being a Double Jeopardy! question.

I have confidence that today's Double Jeopardy! question will fit the bill! This question is worth $1200:

The Category: 1912: 100 Years Ago

The Answer: Later Speaker, this Texan was first elected to the House in 1912 and served there continuously another forty-eight-plus years.

Go on, put your thinking caps on, and remember, form of a question, and NO CHEATING!!

Good luck!!

Completely unrelated: every time I see this icon (and a bunch of others of yours) I laugh lots.

Yeah, I'm fond of this one, even if I have limited use for it.

And now I've learned something. Thanks. Now I remember there being a Sam Rayburn building in D.C. Let's see... *googles* Ah ha!
