Ah nuts, I wrote a long reply and the LJ monster ate it. Basically it said

"3.5 miles? Wuss!!!!"

I've pushed my motorcycle 19 miles when it broke down and walked 25 miles home from a beerfest very, very drunk, though I was sobre by the time I got home.
