LJ Idol week 2, or why I'm taking a bye this week

I was formulating an entry for this week, but then real life things happened that completely derailed all thoughts. Brian's car had a HUGE tree branch fall on top of it on Saturday during the storm. The limb completely smashed the windshield and knocked off the passenger sideview mirror. We got the car towed today. Hopefully, it will actually be fixable. ::crosses fingers::
