Taking a break from the monotony

I promise there will be a life update soon, but for now, I wanted to share with you all a video.

Back in 1963, a Doo-Wop group called Vito & the Salutations recorded a version of "Unchained Melody" and it climbed the charts. The song is featured in the movie Goodfellas.

Why I mention this is because my mom's cousin Frankie Fox was part of that group. For years, my mom told me that Vito & the Salutations performed on The Ed Sullivan Show and we had been looking for a clip from that show.

Well, the other day, Frankie posted a link to it on Facebook. Here it is:

ok, so it was a Dick Clark show, not Ed Sullivan.
